Comments:
The Embassy Suites Maui is under new ownership and is now known as the Kaanapali Beach Club. This is a time-share resort. While they still offer rooms per night like a normal hotel, this is mostly to entice guests to purchase a time-share. The rooms are very comfortable and offer 1 bedroom mini-suite accommodations. The Kaanapali Beach Club has a huge pool area with a water slide! Great Maui Family Resort fun for the kids. Overall, the Kaanapali Beach Club offers a great facilitiy, however time-share owners get the best units, and the pressure will be on to purchase vacation ownership.

"I thought the parking fee was a bit on the high side. What ever happen to the Mrgs. reception from 4:00-6:00 P.M. ? All in all it was Maui..... How can u go wrong??? "

Remarks:
"I read the previous complaints about the front desk staff, which is why I decided to speak up. I have ALWAYS found the front desk to be helpful and accommodating. We own here and have enjoyed our vacations. Our boys, 10 and 14, love this place! The pool is beautiful, and the beach is right here! The boys are free to do what they want and we feel that they are safe here. We have, however, always been disappointed with the restaurants, pricey and average (food and service). We usually go to Whaler's Village for dinner. (It is 10 minutes by car). Aloha. " - Susan, from San Ramon, California
