The Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is one of the better values on the Big Island. We rate is at 4- stars. It has 311 rooms, a nice pool area, a kids pool and restaurants. The bar has live music nightly. Tennis is real big here, as the hotel has 6 lighted tennis courts. The Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is ocean front, but on a rocky coast so no beach area. However, the rocky reef areas make for great snorkeling! The Keauhou is now run by Outrigger Hotels Hawaii. The Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is a great choice for a moderate hotel in Kona.
