The newly rennovated Reef Hotel is once again one of THE places to stay in Waikiki. With its central location, the Outrigger Reef On The Beach Hotel is a favorite of many. The "Reef" is on a prime section of Waikiki Beach right in the center of all the action. The Outrigger Reef On The Beach has a large pool area which is great for sunning and offers beverage and food service poolside. Spend the morning swimming and sunning on the beach and then walk to the pool later in day for drinks and food. What a great way to enjoy vacation time.

The Reef has a number of dining options of which, the Shorebird Bar & Restaurant is the most famous and is right on the beach. The Shorebird is a great place to watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Tip: Book Pool-View or Partial Ocean-View room category rooms or better. This is because the standard rooms at the hotel are very dark due to the shadow of the hotel next door.
